Admission requirements for international students

Welcome to the ADNSU international student guide. To study at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), international applicants must choose their preferred study level among Foundation, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral programmes. You can study in Azerbaijani, English, or Russian. While this guide covers key requirements, students should confirm any unlisted details directly with the International Students Office at [email protected].

Required documents

Before applying to ADNSU, you must prepare all required documents carefully. Missing paperwork will delay your application. For all applicants:

• Valid passport copy

• Educational documents (diploma or certificate and transcript) apostilled or legalized

• Medical certificate from an authorized institution including screening for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and HIV/AIDS

• Notarized copies and certified translations of all academic and medical documents

Specific study levels require relevant graduation certificates or diplomas, such as secondary school certificates for Bachelor's applicants or Bachelor's degrees for Master's candidates.

How to apply to ADNSU: step by step

Applying to ADNSU is straightforward when following these steps:

1. Select your field of study and level (Foundation, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral).

2. Gather and prepare all required documents with proper apostilles or legalizations.

3. Submit your application online via the national portal at portal.edu.az within the correct application period.

4. Attend the language proficiency and academic background interview if required.

5. Receive your admission decision by email within 5 working days of a complete submission.
